Willie James Roland- Brother Roland passed away January 24,2008. He joined Local 10 May 27,1976. He retired September 1,1992 and at that time worked in the Paint Department.
Gaylon Beard- Brother Beard passed away February 25, 2008.He joined local 10 November 2, 1948. He retired January 1, 1978 and at that time worked in the Trim department, He is the father of Local 10 retiree Tony Beard. Brother Beard is among the first to join Local 10.
James Herbert Butler- Brother Butler passed away February 21, 2008. He joined Local 10 January 1948. He served on many committees between 1948-1957 and was appointed to the International Union Staff Region 8. Brother Butler retired July 1,1990, but still was elected by the retirees in several capacities until his death. Brother Butler was among the first to join Local 10.
Charles E. Cook- Brother Cook passed away February 7, 2008. He joined Local 10 November 15, 1954. He retired June 1, 1991 and at that time worked in the Paint Department. Brother Cook is also the father of Local 10 retiree Tony Cook.
John B. Henderson- Brother Henderson passed away February 18, 2008. He joined Local 10 January 2, 1948. He retired April 1, 1980. Brother Henderson was among the first to join Local 10.
Ronnie C. Jones- Brother Jones passed away February 24, 2008. He joined Local 10 July 17, 1968. He retired August 1, 2005 and at that time worked in the Body Shop.
Edward New- Brother New passed away February 9, 2008. He joined Local 10 April 1, 1949. He retired October 1, 1978 and at that time worked in the Hard Trim department.
Harris E. "Red" Bagwell-Brother Bagwell passed away Monday March 24, 2008. He joined Local 10 November 10, 1948 and He retired January 1, 1978. Brother Bagwell was among the first members to join Local 10.
Dwain Cantrell- Brother Cantrell passed away March 18, 2008. He joined Local 10 October 27, 1969. He retired November 1, 2006 and at that time worked in Skilled Trade as a pipefitter.
Charles Harold Cowart- Brother Cowart passed away Sunday March 9, 2008. He joined Local 10 December 30, 1954. He retired May 1, 1991 and at that time worked in Material.
James "JW" Davis- Brother Davis passed away March 12, 2008. He joined Local 10 October 28, 1971 and during his career served Local 10 in several capacities. He retired April 1, 2000 and at that time worked in Paint.
Tommy Holder- Brother Holder passed away March 5, 2008. He joined Local 10 in May 2000 after transferring from Doraville Parts Local 34. He retired June 1, 2007.
Ralph William Moore - Brother Moore passed away March 23, 2008. He joined Local 10 September 11, 1968 and served Local 10 as an Alternate Committeeman in 1985-86. He retired January 1, 1998.
John B Simmons- Brother Simmons passed away Thursday March 27, 2008. He joined Local 10 February 10, 1953 and retired April 1, 1982.

Charles C. “Charlie” Cannon- Brother Cannon passed away April 26, 2008. He joined Local 10 February 23, 1948 and retired May 1, 1977 and at that time worked at the Trim department. Brother Cannon was among the first members to join Local 10.
Thomas F. Cloud Jr-Brother Cloud passed away April 2, 2008. He retired from the Trim department where he worked his entire career at the Doraville Plant
Charles H "Dragon" Etheridge- Brother Etheridge passed away April 4, 2008. He joined Local 10 April 8, 1963 and was known to his co-workers at the Doraville plant as "Dragon". He retired April 1, 1988 and at that time worked in the Chassis department.
Poley German- Brother German passed away Monday April 21, 2008. He was born February 10, 1910. He joined Local 10 March 19. 1948. He retired April 1, 1977 and at that time worked as a pipefitter in Skilled Trade. He is survived by two sons, Wallace and Randall, who are also Local 10 Retirees. Brother German was among the first members to join Local 10.
Langley E, Irvin-Brother Irvin passed away April 2, 2008. He was a faithful member of Local 10 Retiree Chapter. Local 10 Financial Secretary Kathy Fowler said of Brother Irvin "We are all so saddened by this. He always opened our monthly meetings with prayer. At our March meeting just a few weeks ago, he opened with one of the sweetest prayers I have ever heard." He will be sorely missed by the Local 10 Retirees.
James H "Jimmy" Smith - Brother Smithpassed away Tuesday April 15, 2008. He joined Local 10 on August 4, 1971. He retired on November 1, 2003 and at that time worked in the Material department, where he was affectionately known to his many friends and co-workers as "Double-Ugly".
Joseph C. Cannon- Brother Cannon passed away May 27, 2008. He retired May 1, 1999 and at that time worked on the Body Shop department.
Byron D. Chambers -Brother Chambers passed away May 16, 2008. He joined Local 10 in August 1996. He retired in October 2007 and at that time worked in the trim department.
Ralph J. "RJ" Clark Jr. -Brother Clark passed away Sunday May 4, 2008. Brother Clark served as an Alternate Committeeman in the 1950's.
Grady Roy Hobgood-Brother Hobgood passed away Friday May 30, 2008. He was 86.Brother Hobgood retired from GM after over 20 years of service. Brother Hobgood is the father-in-law of Local 10 Retiree Wayne Johnson.
Glyndon "Let" Pugh -Brother Pugh passed away Saturday May 10, 2008. He was 80 years old. Brother Pugh is the father of Local 10 Retiree Tim Pugh
James Franklin Williams- Brother Williams passed away Friday May 9, 2008. At the time of his retirement he worked in the Heavy Repair department.
David L. Dunn- Brother Dunnpassed away Sunday June 1, 2008. He joined Local 10 in March 1986. He retired November 1, 2006, and at that time worked in the Skilled Trade department as a millwright.
Tannie Eunice- Brother Eunice passed away Wednesday June 11, 2008. Tannie joined Local 10 September 30, 1996 after transferring to the Doraville plant. He retired April 1, 2000 and at that time worked in the Body Shop.
Larry Marshall - Brother Marshall passed away Tuesday June 24, 2008. Brother Marshall was a UAW Veteran. He joined Local 10 September 5, 1979 and worked in the Maintenance department as a booth cleaner on the 2nd shift.
Kathy Sisson –Sister Sisson passed away Friday June 13, 2008. She joined Local 10 after transferring from the Willow Run, Michigan Plant where she served as Zone Committeeperson. Sister Sisson is the wife of Local 10 Retiree Ed Sisson.
Thomas C. “Top Cat” Webb -Brother Webb passed away June 28, 2008. He retired as a truck driver in the Material department at the time of his retirement.
John "Tool Tall" Willoughby- Brother Willoughby passed away Wednesday June 18, 2008. Brother Willoughby joined Local 10 in June 1978 where he worked for most of his career in the Body Shop. He retired in 1997 and at that time worked in the Material Department.
Leo Aaron- Brother Aaron passed away July 4, 2008. He joined Local 10 on August 1, 1984. He retired May 1, 2000 and at that time worked in teh Skilled Trade department.
William V. "Bill Matheson- Brother Matheson passed away July 14, 2008. He joined Local 10 June 26, 1960. He retired April 1, 1988 and at that time worked as a millwright in the Skilled Trade department.
Thomas J. Yancey- Brother Yancey passed away July 2, 2008. Brother Yancey was a Local 10 Veteran. He joined Local 10 on June 11, 1952, and retired February 1, 1982.
Harry T. Arnold- Brother Arnold passed away August 14, 2008. He retired April 1, 1977.
John H. Barton- Brother Barton passed away August 9, 2008. He joined Local 10 on October 21, 1924. He retired October 1, 1989 and at that time worked in teh Maintenance department (Cusion Room).
Ruby Burnette-sister Burnette died August 12, 2008. Sister Burnette retired in 1992 and at that time worked in the Trim department.
C. Morris "Booger" Harrington-Brother Harrington passed away August 20. 2008. Brother Harrington was elected and served on the Bargaining Committee District 3 (Trim department) from 1990-1996. He joined Local 10 on September 9, 1970. He retired August 1, 2000 and at that time worked on the Trim department
Willie C. Jenkins- Brother Jenkins passed away August 14, 2008. Brother Jenkins joined Local 10 March 1976. He retired in April 2004 and at that time worked in the Stamping Plant. Brother Jenkins is the husband of Local 10 Retiree Sister Rosa Jenkins.
Hoy Westbrooks-Brother Westbrooks passed away August 23, 2008. . He retired in 1978, and at at that time worked on the frame line in the Chassis department. Brother Westbrooks was among the first members to join Local 10.
Arthur L. Juhan -Brother Juhan passed away September 15, 2006. He joined Local 10 in 1948. Brother Juhan retired January 1, 1979 and at that time worked in Water Test in the Trim Department. Brother Juhan was among the first members to join Local 10.
