Alton Carlyle-Brother Carlyle passed away Thursday February 26, 2009. He joined Local 10 on February 2, 1954. He retired on April 1, 1985, and at that time worked in the Chassis department (motor line).
Jason Friedman- Brother Friedman passed away Saturday January 24, 2009. He joined Local 10 August 16, 1996. He retired May 1, 2000 and at that time worked in the Trim department.
Myron Gilliland- Brother Gilliland passed away January 28, 2008. He retired March 1, 1980. Brother Gilliland is the father of Local 10 Retiree Ricky Gilliland.
Robert "Pete" Malcolm- Brother Malcolm passed away Friday January 23, 2009. He joined Local 10 June 1, 1949. He retired January 1, 1979 and at that time worked in the Body Shop.
Edward S. Mitchell- Brother Mitchell passed away Tuesday February 3, 2009. He joined Local 10 in October 1949. He retired July 1, 1979.
Ben D. Ray- Brother Ray passed away Thursday January 15, 2009. Brother Ray joined Local 10 June 7, 1963. He retired November 1, 1999 and worked in the salvage department.
Helen Sheley- Sister Sheley passed away February 27, 2009. She was known to her co-workers as "Miss Helen". She joined Local 10 on August 20, 1970. She retired January 1, 2001 and at that time worked in the maintenance department as a sweeper. Sister Sheley is also the wife of Local 10 Retiree Garland Roach.
James Hoyt Worley- Brother Worley passed away Tuesday January 20, 2009. He retired April 1, 1980 and at that time worked in the Paint Department.
Robert Brooks- Brother Brooks passed away Tuesday February 3, 2009. Brother Brooks was elected and served on the Bargaining Committee from 1974-1978.
Joe Thomas O'Kelley- Brother Kelley passed away February 16, 2009. He retired March 1, 1985.
Louise Nolan- Sister Nolan passed away Friday April 24, 2009. Sister Nolan retired from the Servamation Cafeteria, and served on the bargaining committee that represented the cafeteria workers.
Curtis "Turkey Neck" Robinson- Brother Robinson passed away Monday February 9, 2009. Brother Robinson worked in the Skilled Trade department (Millwright).
James Michael Dixon- Brother Dixon passed away Sunday March 1, 2009. Brother Dixon joined Local 10 on July 25, 1978. He retired on July 1, 2008, and at that time worked in the Maintenance department.
Buford R. Watkins- Brother Watkins passed away Tuesday March 17, 2009. Brother Watkins retired April 1, 1983.
Laura Hull- Sister Hull passed away Wednesday March 25, 2009. Sister Hull retired in September 2008 and worked in Chassis/Inspection.
Frank "Frankie" Corley- Brother Corley passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009.
Stanley Garmon- Brother Garmon passed away Friday April 10, 2009.
Johnny Glover- Brother Glover passed away Saturday April 4, 2009. He Glover was affectionately known to his friends and co-workers at the GM Doraville plant as "Eat 'Em Up".
Ray Jones- Brother Jones passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009.
William C. Mullinax- Brother Mullinax passed away Monday April 24, 2009.
Kenneth L. "Kenny" Rogers- Brothers Rogers passed away Thursday April 16, 2009. Brother Rogers retired December 2005 and at that time worked in Inspection. He had also worked in the Paint Department and the Mackie plant.
Larry Steven Darnell-Brother Darnell passed away Wednesday May 6, 2009. Brother Darnell joined Local 10 October 4, 1968. He retired May 27, 1999 and at that time worked in the Chassis department.
James Merrill Etheridge- Brother Etheridge passed away Monday May 25, 2009. He was known to his friends at the Doraville plant by his nickname "Step and a Half" and worked in Skilled Trade as a painter at the time of his retirement.
E.B. "Bud" Harmon - Brother Harmon passed away Monday May 25, 2009. Brother Harmon was the first EAP representative at the Doraville plant and represented Local 10 until his retirement.
Charles L. "Charlie" Hunter- Brother Hunter passed away Wednesday May 20, 2009. He worked in the Body Shop at the time of his retirement.
Harold Fraser- Brother Fraser passed away Saturday May 10, 2009. Brother Fraser once served as an Alternate Committeeman in the Body Shop.
Henry Ralph Peters- Brother Peters passed away Wednesday May 6, 2009.
Judy Singleton- Sister Singleton passed away Friday May 1, 2009. She joined Local 10 November 27, 1978. She worked in the Paint department until the Doraville plant closed in September 2008.
Luther J. "Bud" Smith- Brother Smith passed away Sunday May 24, 2009. Brother Smith worked in Housekeeping at the time of his retirement. He is also the father of Local 10 retiree J.L. Smith.
Andrew Jack Tatum- Brother Tatum passed away Sunday May 3, 2009. He joined Local 10 on May 12, 1953. He retired May 1, 1993 and at that time worked in the Paint department.
Fred Hurst- Brother Hurst passed away Friday June 12, 2009. He worked in Security until his retirement.
John Henry Millwood-Brother Millwood passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009.
Alfred L. Butterworth-Brother Butterworth passed away Saturday August 1, 2009. Brother Butterworth retired May 1, 1979.
Henry L. McDaniel-Brother McDaniel passed away July 30, 2009.
Victor U. Thompson- Brother Thompson passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009. He retired in 1985.
Jerry Edwards- Brother Edwards passed away Thursday August 27, 2009. Brother Edwards worked in the Paint department at the time of his retirement.
James Richard Pugh- Brother Pugh passed away Wednesday August 19, 2009. He retired in 1988 and at that time worked in the Housekeeping department.
Wayne "Cupcake" Robinson- Brother Robinson passed away Wednesday August 19, 2009. Brother Robinson joined Local 10 September 30, 1977. He retired March 1, 2000 and at that time worked in the Skilled Trade department as a pipefitter.
Arthur Smith- Brother Smith passed away Thursday August 20, 2009.
Dewey Tribble- Brother Tribble passed away Saturday August 30, 2009. Brother Tribble retired from GM on March 1, 1983.
Climmie Ward- Brother Ward passed away Sunday August 2, 2009. Brother Ward joined Local 10 September 29, 1965. He retired October 1, 1992.
Gene Elkins- Brother Elkins passed away Sunday September 6, 2009.
George Irwin-Brother Irwin passed away Tuesday September 22, 2009. He joined Local 10 in April 1952. He retired September 1, 1982 and at that time worked in Maintenance as an oiler.
Herbert Hoover Weaver- Brother Weaver passed away Thursday September 3, 2009.
Ernest "Cigar" Crawford- Brother Crawford passed away Thursday October 29, 2009. He joined Local 10 June 16, 1977. He retired July 1, 2008 and at that time worked in the Trim department.
Norman Early- Brother Early passed away Sunday October 25, 2009. Brother Early was a transfer to the Doraville plant from California and worked in the Body Shop at the time of his retirement.
Juanita "Silk" Perkins- Sister Perkins passed away Wednesday October 7, 2009. She worked in the Paint department at the time of her retirement, and was a facilitator for Local 10 at the Doraville plant for many years.
Hugh D. Stowe- Brother Stowe passed away Wednesday October 28, 2009. Brother Stowe retired in 1982 and was a very loyal and dedicated member of the Local 10 Retiree Chapter.
Van Adams-Brother Adams passed away Tuesday November 17, 2009. Brother Adams joined Local 10 February 1, 1986. He retired November 1, 2006 and at that time worked in the Skilled Trade department as a pipefitter
William R. Dobson Sr.- Brother Dobson passed away Monday November 9, 2009. Brother Dobson retired October 1, 1978.
Ernest Goggins- Brother Goggins passed away Friday November 6, 2009. Brother Goggins retired August 1, 2006 and at that time worked in the Material department.
William "Al" Sosebee- Brother Sosebee passed away Sunday November 1, 2009.
Wendell E. Wallis- Brother Wallis passed away Sunday November 1, 2009. Brother Wallis worked in the Material department at the time of his retirement.
Jeffrey W. Woodall- Brother Woodall passed away Thursday November 26, 2009. Brother Woodall joined Local 10 in 1979. While at the Doraville plant he worked mostly in the Trim department. He retired April 1, 2009 and at that time worked in the Material department.
Arsie Fitzgerald Jr.- Brother Fitzgerald passed away December 12, 2009. He joined Local 10 on April 24, 1966. He retired on January 1, 1997.
Joyce Williams- Sister Williams passed away Sunday December 6, 2009. She transferred from the Lakewood Ga. plant, Local 34. in 1981. At the time of her retirement she worked in the Trim department, 2nd shift.
Claud W. "Dub" Bradford- Brother Bradford passed away Monday January 11, 2010. He joined Local 10 April 12, 1948. He retired May 1, 1979. Brother Bradford is one of the first members to join Local 10 and is also the Father-In-Law of Region 8 Atlanta Area Director Alvin Smith.
Robert O. Bryant- Brother Bryant passed away Tuesday January 19, 2010.
Robert Eason- Brother Eason passed away Saturday January 2, 2009.
Aubrey V. Landrum -Brother Landrum passed away Sunday January 31, 2010.
Troyce Pugh- Brother Pugh passed away Wednesday January 20, 2010.
John M. Hendrix- Brother Hendrix passed away Friday February 12, 2010.
John A. "Johnny" Horn -Brother Horn passed away Sunday February 21, 2010.
James F. "Shorty" Morris- Brother Morris passed away Tuesday February 23, 2010.
Alvin R. Seabolt- Brother Seabolt passed away February 3, 2010. He joined Local 10 October 16, 1964. He retired April 1, 1994.
Jack R. Shore- Brother Shore passed away Monday February 15, 2010.
Charles Woodruff- Brother Woodruff passed away Tuesday February 9, 2010.
James "Booker T" Booker- Brother Booker passed away Monday March 29, 2010. At the time of his retirement Brother Booker worked in the Housekeeping department.
Hubert L. "Billy" McIntyre- Brother McIntyre passed away Saturday March 20, 2010. He worked in the Paint department at the time of his retirement. Brother McIntyre is the father of Local 10 Retiree Edward McIntyre.
Joseph "J.J." McKlin- Brother McKlin passed away Monday March 8, 2010.
Paul Ed "Big Ed" Pruett- Brother Pruett passed away Tuesday March 9, 2010. At the time of his retirement Brother Pruett worked in Skilled Trade as a millwright.

George Harold Wiley- Brother Wiley passed away Tuesday March 2, 2010. Brother Wiley was the father of Local 10 Retiree Mike Wiley.

Otis L. Briscoe- Brother Briscoe passed away Wednesday May 19, 2010. He retired January 1, 1981 and at that time worked in Inspection. Brother Briscoe was among the first members to join Local 10.

Robert L. Martin- Brother Martin passed away Sunday May 30, 2010. He worked in the company car garage at the time of his retirement.

Betty Norman- Sister Norman passed away Thursday June 3, 2010. She joined Local 10 on May 29, 1981. She retired November 1, 2006 and at that time worked in the Paint department.
Jorge Pinero- Brother Pinero passed away Thursday June 10, 2010. He worked in Inspection on the final line at the time of his retirement, and while at the Doraville plant he also worked in the Material and Trim departments.
Wallace Summey- Brother Summey passed away Thursday June 17, 2010.
Robert S. "Bob Powell- Brother Powell passes away Wednesday June 23, 2010. Brother Powell retired in 2007 and at that time worked in Skilled Trades as a
millwright.
Emory Bruce- Brother Bruce passed away Sunday July 25, 2010.
Phillip Moon- Brother Moon who passed away
Thursday July 22, 2010.
Joseph Hermon Purcell- Brother Purcell passed away Friday July
23, 2010. He came from the Lakewood
plant in 1948. At the time of his retirement Brother Purcell worked on
the shipping line.

Mike Brown- Brother Brown passed away Saturday August 28, 2010. He retired in April 2009 and worked in Skilled Trade as a millwright.

Robert T. Gunter- Brother Gunter passed away Thursday August 19, 2010. Brother Gunter was elected 1st President of Local 10 in 1948.
